It is with great pleasure that I write a little piece on my experience working with Katie as an Assistance Dog Handler. Katie was the head trainer at Assistance Dogs Australia when I received my dog Oppy and I found her to be one of the most genuine, kind natured people I have ever met.
Her knowledge of dog psychology was very impressive, as was her dedication to Assistance Dogs Australia, myself and my course participants, and most importantly, the dogs themselves. Most impressive of all however, is her passion for wholistic care for animals. She is very well educated in her field, and is patient enough to take the time to explain why certain approaches are an improvement on better known approaches.
I am still in contact with Katie despite having completed my training several months ago and continue to be so following her exciting leap into small business.
I commend Katie and her services to anyone looking for dog training that is second to none, and furthermore anyone interested in improving the health and wellbeing of their best friend.
